Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem schedule (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift (classified as day)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Provide compassionate, respectful patient care that preserves dignity
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Document care and observations clearly to support the nursing team
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
Comfortable working per-diem evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Vital signs measurement and observation of patient condition
Basic infection control and safety practices
Clear documentation and timely communication with nursing staff
Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced care setting
