Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Document care provided and vital signs accurately
• Support patients with meals and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including some weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care principles
• Ability to use proper body mechanics and transfer techniques
• Strong observation and documentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring bedside manner
• Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient needs
