Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
• Support residents with mobility needs, including transferring and repositioning
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and teammates
• Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or similar)
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus, but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents, families, and team members
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions with attention to detail
• Basic computer skills for electronic documentation
• Time management and multitasking skills to handle a dynamic workload
