Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Help residents with meals, feeding, and hydration to support their nutritional health
• Promote resident independence and dignity through encouraging, respectful care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, responding promptly to call lights
• Collaborate with nurses and caregivers to ensure each resident receives the highest quality of care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Ability to safely lift, transfer, and support residents
• Strong communication and compassion for others
• Previous long-term care experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome
• Must have a valid state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• BLS/CPR certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident rights and HIPAA privacy practices
• Skilled in taking vital signs and observing changes in condition
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a care team
• Compassionate and patient approach to caregiving
• Strong time management and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
• Understanding of fall prevention and infection control protocols
