Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to keep them safe and comfortable
• Help maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with nurses and other care team members
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families through attentive, respectful care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain
• Previous CNA experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist with transfers throughout your shift
• Strong communication skills and a warm, patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control practices
• Skill in using electronic health records (EHR) or ability to learn quickly
• Understanding of HIPAA and resident rights
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
