Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to keep residents safe and comfortable
• Support residents during meals, monitoring food and fluid intake as needed
• Respond promptly to call lights and address resident needs with patience and a smile
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for both residents and staff
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred - we can help you get it if needed
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Ability to lift, transfer, and support residents safely
• Must pass background checks and comply with facility requirements
• Registry personnel must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and patience when caring for others
• Basic understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Great time management and attention to detail
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a bonus
