Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their comfort and safety
• Support residents during meals, including feeding assistance and monitoring food and fluid intake
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification is preferred
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of basic nursing assistant skills, including ADLs and vital signs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Gentle, respectful approach when caring for residents with varying needs
