Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Observe and report any changes in residents' condition or behavior to the nursing team
• Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner
• Support a positive, respectful environment for residents, families, and teammates

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and safety protocols
• Skill in using vital signs equipment and electronic documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents
