Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate daily care to patients including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
  • Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Support patients with meals, feeding, and hydration needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment
  • Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Georgia
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Ability to work flexible per diem shifts
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Reliable and dependable with strong attendance
  • Must be comfortable with 12.5-hour shifts

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control practices
  • Strong observation and documentation skills
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with mobility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • Time management and organizational skills
