Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to acute care patients
  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
  • Document patient care accurately and timely
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
  • Support patient dignity and independence while promoting recovery
  • Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana
  • BLS certification required
  • Previous acute care or hospital experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients safely
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control practices
  • Skill in obtaining and recording vital signs
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
  • Empathy and patient advocacy
  • Time management and adaptability to changing patient needs
