Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs, and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
• Support residents with meals and hydration, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comforting environment for residents
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through attentive, personalized care
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure each resident's physical and emotional needs are met

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Ability to work night shift hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable individual
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
• Must pass background checks as required by the facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
• Skill in taking vital signs and documenting patient information accurately
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions precisely
• Empathy and active listening skills to connect with residents
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations
