Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Support patient mobility and transfers to promote independence
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in an acute rehabilitation environment
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Massachusetts
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous acute care or rehabilitation experience is a plus
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients throughout the shift
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
• Familiarity with infection control and HIPAA guidelines
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Teamwork, empathy, and a positive attitude
