Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry strips and act quickly on rhythm changes
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care throughout the shift
• Assess, document, and communicate patient status with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and confidence
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to keep patients safe
• Educate patients and families so they feel informed and supported

Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Telemetry experience in a hospital setting
• Comfort reading and interpreting cardiac rhythms
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to jump in quickly and adapt to a new unit

• Cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Acute care nursing assessment
• Electronic medical records documentation
• Medication administration and titration
• Patient and family education
• Critical thinking in fast-moving situations
