Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute meal break); orientation day one runs 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM with remaining orientation start times varying between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM

Candidate Pay Rate: $35.70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care that helps patients feel safe and respected every single day
• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
• Take and record vital signs, and report changes to the nursing team right away
• Help patients move safely, whether that means walking, transferring, or repositioning
• Document care accurately so the whole team stays on the same page
• Partner closely with nurses and physicians to deliver smooth, coordinated care
• Keep patient rooms and equipment clean, stocked, and ready for the next person who needs them
• Bring a calm, encouraging presence to patients and families during their stay

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Active California CNA license or the ability to obtain one
• Current BLS certification is a plus
• Prior CNA experience in a medical or long-term care setting is a plus
• A genuine passion for patient care and a team-first attitude
• Strong communication skills and comfort working alongside an interdisciplinary team
• Reliable, dependable, and ready to jump in from day one

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and activities of daily living support
• Vital signs monitoring and accurate documentation
• Infection control practices and patient safety standards
• Safe patient handling, mobility, and transfer techniques
• Electronic medical record (EMR) charting basics
• Clear, kind communication with patients, families, and staff
• Time management and the ability to prioritize throughout a busy shift
• Teamwork and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
