Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality telemetry nursing care to geriatric and swing-bed patients
• Perform advanced wound assessments and implement evidence-based wound care plans
• Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient status
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Cerner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families, delivering concierge-level service for an affluent community
• Assist with minor procedures performed on the unit and support unit workflow

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact license where applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (telemetry, geriatric care, or inpatient rehab/swing bed preferred)
• Current BLS required; ACLS and CPI preferred
• Demonstrated advanced wound care skills
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a med/surg/acute care setting
• Experience with electronic documentation in Cerner preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Advanced wound care techniques and dressing management
• Geriatric assessment and rehabilitation-focused nursing
• Proficient Cerner documentation and electronic charting
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in a 12-hour shift
• Clear communication and teamwork in a small-unit environment
• Familiarity with standard med/surg equipment and minor procedural support
