Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare pediatric patients for surgery in the pre-op area
• Assess patient health status and review medical histories
• Start IVs and administer medications as ordered
• Educate families on surgical procedures and post-op care
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric patient assessment
• IV insertion and medication administration
• Family-centered care approach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
