Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals, ensuring a safe birth
• Assist with cesarean sections and emergency deliveries with confidence
• Educate new parents on infant care, breastfeeding, and recovery
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and the care team to optimize outcomes
• Stabilize and support newborns, mastering couplet care

Qualifications

• Bring 3+ years of OB/GYN nursing experience to the table
• Be proficient in labor and delivery and couplet care
• Hold an active Michigan RN license (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable with advanced cardiac life support - ACLS preferred
• Travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in OB/GYN nursing and fetal monitoring
• Skilled in couplet care and newborn stabilization
• Knowledge of pediatric care fundamentals
• ACLS certified or willing to become certified
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, rewarding environment
