Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist with chairside procedures and patient care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and process dental radiographs and impressions
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Support a positive and efficient office environment

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified (Ortho Certification required)
• Experience in orthodontic assisting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in orthodontic procedures and equipment
• Knowledge of dental terminology and infection control
• Skilled in patient interaction and education
• Familiarity with dental software and record keeping
