Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborn couplets
- Monitor and titrate intravenous medications including magnesium and oxytocin
- Assist with cesarean sections, focusing on neonatal care
- Float to other departments as needed for patient sitting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a rural hospital setting
- Utilize electronic fetal monitoring system OB Trace Vue
Qualifications
- Active RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience
- Ability to pass fit testing
- Ability to float to other units as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of AWHONN nurse-to-patient ratios
- Skill in titrating medications such as magnesium and oxytocin
- Proficiency with OB Trace Vue electronic fetal monitoring
- Ability to work independently in a rural setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
