Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to high-risk laboring and delivery patients
Perform vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and fetal monitoring strip reading
Circulate and recover C-section patients independently
Titrate critical drips including magnesium sulfate, pitocin, insulin, and heparin
Manage antepartum patients with varying acuity levels
Float to mother-baby unit and other units as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Proven experience in L&D - must be independent and confident with high-risk deliveries
Strong ability to read fetal monitor strips and manage titratable drips

Knowledge & Skills

Expert in vaginal exams and internal monitor placement
Proficient in Cerner electronic fetal monitoring system
Skilled in circulating and recovering C-sections
Ability to float to mother-baby and other units as needed
