Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, including every third weekend and holidays.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Circulate in the OR during C-sections
- Perform newborn assessments and routine baby care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, residents, and CRNAs
- Float to postpartum unit as needed, caring for both moms and infants
- Titrate IV drips such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state (NLC)
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience with OR circulating skills
- Driver's license required (verified at submittal)
- Comfort with floating to postpartum and occasional sitter duties
- No artificial nails allowed in patient care areas
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong teamwork and positive attitude
- Flexibility to adapt to changing unit needs
- Proficiency in OB patient assessment and EFM (Obix system)
- Ability to titrate common OB drips
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
