Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM / 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis cases
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, sedation, and other medications
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips accurately
Float to PCU and MedSurg units as needed to support the team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Participate in open-book orientation exam to ensure competency

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
Driver's license required to verify 50-mile radius exclusion
Willingness to float to PCU and MedSurg units

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ICU nursing, including titration of drips and monitor interpretation
Proficiency with GE telemetry monitors
Strong assessment skills for trauma, cardiac, and respiratory distress patients
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Adaptability to fluctuating patient ratios (1:2-3)
