Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients on a General Medicine unit
• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (or compact)
• BLS certification required
• Previous experience in general medicine, med-surg, or acute care preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every third weekend
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
