Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, shift negotiable; rotating call one weekday per week and one weekend per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform scrubbing duties during open heart surgeries and chest closures
Assist in endovascular and thoracic procedures including TAVR
Collaborate with surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain sterile field and adhere to safety protocols
Float to General OR as needed for CVOR downtime
Participate in on-call rotation for weeknights and weekends

Qualifications

Current RN license in Colorado or compact license accepted
BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
Open heart surgery experience required
Endovascular experience required
Ability to scrub into cardiac procedures
Epic EMR experience preferred
Must be comfortable with call response within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in open heart and endovascular surgery
Proficient in scrubbing and assisting in CVOR
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control
Ability to adapt to fast-paced surgical environment
