Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, then transmit them to a radiologist for interpretation.
• Unload portable X-ray equipment and safely transport it into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a cardiologist for interpretation.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily following protocol.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and management, and collaborate professionally with peers, supervisors, and clients.
• Keep the vehicle and X-ray equipment well-maintained and ready for each assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid ARRT Certification and required state licenses (Delaware and Maryland)
• Current driver's license in good standing in the applicable state
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or approved exemption documentation
• Ability to push or pull up to 50-100 lbs. when operating portable equipment, with assistance from ramps and pulleys
• Experience with portable radiography, digital radiography, and EKG preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in X-ray imaging, including digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography
• Skilled in portable radiography and EKG procedures
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, facility staff, and dispatch
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a dynamic schedule
• Commitment to patient care and safety
