Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and process high-quality mobile X-rays using state-of-the-art digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography equipment, transmitting images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at various facilities, ensuring clinically diagnostic images for each patient.
• Perform EKGs when needed and transmit results to cardiologists for timely interpretation.
• Scan and submit exam documentation and billing paperwork daily to keep operations running smoothly.
• Stay connected with dispatch and management to coordinate schedules and respond to patient needs.
• Communicate professionally with peers, supervisors, and facility staff to ensure excellent patient care.
• Keep your vehicle and imaging equipment in top condition with regular maintenance.

Qualifications

• Maintain required state licenses and/or ARRT Certification, along with health and operational requirements.
• Valid driver's license in California and in good current standing at all times.
• COVID-19 vaccination required or approved exemption documentation.
• California state licensure as required for radiologic technologists.

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in X-Ray and portable radiography techniques
• Proficiency with digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) equipment
• Skilled in performing EKGs
• Strong patient communication and care skills
• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Knowledge of proper equipment transport and safety protocols
