Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to help them regain strength, function, and confidence
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care that truly fit each patient
• Document services accurately and on time so every patient's progress is clearly captured
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in line with practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to build a circle of support around each patient
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards every single day

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active state Physical Therapist license, or the ability to obtain one
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility and adaptability when it comes to facilities, schedules, and patient needs
• A genuine passion for helping patients move and feel better

• Physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
• Patient evaluation and clinical assessment
• Treatment plan development and discharge planning
• Clinical documentation best practices
• Supervision and mentoring of PTAs and Rehab Techs
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with care teams and families
• Infection control and safety compliance
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and colleagues
