Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take dental radiographs and intraoral scans
• Fit and adjust orthodontic appliances, wires, and bands
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and appointment notes
• Collaborate with orthodontists and dental team for smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or state-approved certification required
• Experience as an orthodontic assistant preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of dental assisting and orthodontic procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced clinical setting
