Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures
• Assist orthodontist during exams, adjustments, and fittings
• Take dental radiographs and intraoral scans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and schedules
• Ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Dental Assisting experience preferred
• Active Maryland Dental Assistant license or registration
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in dental software and imaging
• Strong attention to detail
• Sterilization and infection control protocols
• Chairside assisting skills
• Patient education and customer service
