Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient exams and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans in Denticon
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Support a smooth patient flow by anticipating the orthodontist's needs

Qualifications

• Orthodontic Certification required
• Experience with Denticon software preferred
• Previous orthodontic assisting experience is a plus
• Current CPR certification is preferred
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Proficiency with dental practice management software, especially Denticon
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Ability to take high-quality dental X-rays
• Excellent interpersonal skills with patients and team members
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
