Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
• Assist the dentist during procedures while ensuring patient comfort
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
• Strong clinical skills with a gentle, compassionate approach
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in taking dental X-rays
• Excellent patient communication and education abilities
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a practice
