Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain the highest standards of infection control.
- Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with front-office duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent preferred
- Current X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with dental practice management software
- A positive, patient-first attitude with excellent communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a dental care team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate and professional demeanor with all patients
