Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during braces and aligner procedures, ensuring patient comfort
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
• Provide exceptional patient care and support to create a positive experience

Qualifications

• Active orthodontic assistant certification (required)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus
• Experience with orthodontic software like ortho2 or Denticon is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental and orthodontic terminology
• Proficiency in dental instrument sterilization and infection control
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
