Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and imaging procedures to aid in accurate diagnoses
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
• Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to review images and deliver exceptional patient care
• Document patient history, scan protocols, and technical details accurately
• Follow strict radiation safety and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active CT Technologist certification (ARRT) or equivalent
• Current BLS certification
• DCI/BVP certification preferred
• Valid state license to practice as a CT Tech in California
• Experience in CT imaging, including contrast administration and image post-processing
• Up-to-date immunizations and negative TB test as per facility requirements
• Able to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of CT anatomy, protocols, and imaging techniques
• Proficient in radiation safety and dose reduction principles
• Skilled in patient positioning, immobilization, and venipuncture for contrast
• Comfortable using PACS and imaging software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, 12-hour shift environment
