Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Communicate continuously with physicians about patient condition
• Assess procedure room and equipment functioning, and maintain readiness
• Obtain supplies for cases and ensure the Cardiovascular Laboratory team's needs are met
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities

Qualifications

• Active RN license (verified via Nursys) is required
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required upon hire
• At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
• Must pass Prime checklist and competency exams including Basic Pharmacology, Rhythm Interpretation, Core Competencies, Skills Checklist, and Specialty Exam
• Must meet personal health history requirements including immunizations, TB test, physical, and drug screening

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
