Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders and referrals
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Document patient services accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise COTAs in accordance with state practice acts and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to maximize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)
• Active state OT license or ability to obtain one
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctoral degree (OTD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Individualized care plan development
• COTA supervision and delegation
• Interdisciplinary collaboration
• Accurate and timely documentation
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
