Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients primarily ages 0-3 in the Infant Child Development program
• Support children with delays or deficits in activities of daily living, play, neuromuscular, sensory-integrative, cognitive, or psychosocial abilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver and document occupational therapy services with care and accuracy
• Educate and consult with families and caregivers throughout the therapy process
• Coordinate discharge and transition planning to set families up for success

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Kansas Occupational Therapy License
• Valid Kansas Driver's License
• BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association within the first 90 days of employment
• One year of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred

Education

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy [REQUIRED]
• Minimum Experience One year of experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred [PREFERRED]
• One year of experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred [PREFERRED]
• Required Registration/License/Certification Kansas Occupational Therapy License [REQUIRED]Valid Kansas Driver’s License [DOCUMENT]Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
