Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with two weekend shifts per month and a compensatory weekday off

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including therapeutic exercise and ADL training
• Perform neuromuscular reeducation therapy to improve motor function and coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately using Meditech Expanse
• Provide patient and family education for home exercise programs

Qualifications

• Active OTR license in Tennessee or compact eligible state
• NBCOT certification required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in therapeutic exercise, ADL training, and neuromuscular reeducation
• Skilled in using Meditech Expanse for electronic documentation
• Knowledge of CPT codes for therapy billing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to float between acute care and inpatient rehab units
