Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate bedside care that helps residents feel safe, respected and truly cared for
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring for changes in condition
• Partner with RNs, CNAs and physicians to build and carry out personalized care plans
• Chart assessments, interventions and outcomes promptly and thoroughly in the electronic record
• Support residents and their families with clear updates, education and a reassuring presence
• Respond quickly and calmly to changes in condition, emergencies and acute care needs
• Keep infection control, safety and facility protocols front and center every single shift

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact eligibility)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Prior experience in long term care, skilled nursing or a similar setting is a big plus
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination series or a documented religious or medical exemption
• State or federal issued photo ID and willingness to wear a facility badge at all times
• Reliable, dependable and ready to jump in as part of a close-knit team
• Strong communication skills and a genuine heart for older adults
