Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care that helps residents feel safe, respected, and at home
• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and changes in condition, then report them promptly to the nursing team
• Support patient mobility and safe transfers to keep recovery moving in the right direction
• Answer call lights quickly and respond to resident needs with a warm, reassuring presence
• Document care accurately in the charting system and keep the care team aligned
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and infection-free environment for everyone
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and fellow CNAs to deliver seamless rehabilitation care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination series or a documented religious or medical exemption
• Ability to bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• Prior skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a nice plus, but we welcome dedicated CNAs ready to grow
• Reliable, dependable, and ready to commit to a full 11-week local assignment

• Hands-on patient care and comfort measures
• Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observation
• Safe patient handling, transfers, and mobility assistance
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Basic charting and documentation in electronic systems
• Clear, kind communication with residents, families, and teammates
• Time management and the ability to stay calm on a busy unit
