Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care that helps patients feel safe and respected
• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and eating
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and report changes right away
• Support patient mobility, transfers and repositioning to keep recovery on track
• Serve as a steady, reassuring presence for patients and families during their rehab journey
• Collaborate closely with nurses and therapists to keep every care plan moving forward
• Document care accurately so the whole team stays in sync

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in New Mexico
• Current BLS certification
• Prior CNA experience, ideally in a rehab or skilled nursing setting
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination or a documented religious or medical exemption
• Ability to bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• A caring, dependable teammate who shows up ready to make a difference

• Strong patient care and ADL support techniques
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs
• Safe patient handling, transfers and mobility assistance
• Clear communication with nurses, therapists and families
• Accurate, timely charting and documentation
