Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings, examinations, and preventative treatments
• Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices to promote long-term wellness
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Assist dentists during procedures to ensure smooth and efficient visits
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in a dental office setting preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental software and digital charting
• Solid understanding of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Skill in taking and interpreting dental x-rays
• Ability to work collaboratively with dentists and staff
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
