Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography and radiography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Position patients and adjust imaging settings for optimal results using ALARA principles
• Assist physicians during procedures, including contrast administration and sterile technique
• Transfer and manage image data in PACS and V-RAD systems
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Support the flow of examinations and assist in scheduling to maximize efficiency
• Educate and mentor radiology students and ancillary staff on CT protocols

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent CT Tech experience required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• COVID vaccine required (declinations not accepted)
• Previous travel experience is required
• Willingness to work facility schedule with no scheduling restrictions

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiography
• Experience with PACS and contrast administration
• IV insertion and sterile technique skills
• Strong patient positioning and equipment operation abilities
• Knowledge of ALARA principles for radiation safety
