Roles & Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in the emergency department
• Teach patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans
• Document all patient care accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize overall patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Oregon RN license (willing to obtain if not yet active)
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications (willing to obtain if needed)
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in acute care nursing and emergency department protocols
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Proficient in medical documentation and electronic health records
• Team collaboration and interdisciplinary coordination
