Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapy plans under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in California (or compact eligible)
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• CPR certification required

Education

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise and modalities
• Understanding of rehabilitation documentation standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Time management and organizational skills
