Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed; schedule to be provided by facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, helping with daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility while preserving dignity
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Support safe transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics
Document care accurately and timely in resident records
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or eligible) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
Good communication skills and ability to follow care plans
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental resident care skills and activities of daily living (ADL) support
Basic understanding of infection prevention and safety protocols
Ability to observe and report changes in resident status
Comfortable with documentation and using electronic or paper charting
Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, professional bedside manner
