Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
• Monitor and document vital signs and report changes in condition
• Support residents with meals and hydration, and assist with feeding when needed
• Engage residents in activities and provide emotional support
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a documented medical/religious exemption
• Ability to provide a valid state or federal issued photo ID
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus
• A caring and compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care procedures and safety protocols
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
• Proficiency in documenting care and using electronic health records
• Empathy, patience, and physical stamina
