Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and support to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Support nutrition and hydration by assisting with meals and documenting intake/output
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and team members
• Ability to document care accurately and efficiently
• Understanding of infection control and HIPAA practices
• Skill in building trusting relationships with patients
