Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and respectful care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
• Support patient mobility, transfers, and positioning with proper body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Document care provided accurately and timely
• Communicate effectively with the care team and family members
• Follow individualized care plans and facility protocols

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Valid state or federal issued identification
• Ability to wear a photo badge at all times while at the facility
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Reliable and dependable, with a commitment to quality
• Ability to work evening shifts as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and ADL support
• Understanding of infection control and safety practices
• Ability to assist with patient transfers, mobility, and positioning
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Clear and compassionate communication
• Teamwork and collaboration with nursing staff
