Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Support mobility and transfers using proper techniques
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Document care provided and report changes in condition to the nurse

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR certification (BLS)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
• Flexibility to pick up shifts as needed

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of infection control practices
